
Grand Lodge Finance Committee

Charter: The Finance Committee
is responsible for helping to ensure the financial health of the Grand Lodge.
Duties: Its tasks include preparing the Grand Lodge budget; managing the
investments; reviewing, throughout the year, expenditures in the context of income; recommending ways to increase
revenue and more efficiently utilize funds; causing the books to be examined and audited; and distributing a
full report of the expenditures to the subordinate Lodges.
Membership:
The Committee shall be composed of seven (7) members assigned by the Grand Master of Masons in Virginia
in conformity with Section 1.73(6) and 1.75(f) of the Methodical Digest.
